Due to the natural landscape, the garden required terracing, so a retaining wall was built behind the pool.
Naturalistic planting scheme with mediterranean style plants
To join the top terrace with the lower pool area, rustic ‘sleeper’ style steps were built on a curve, with a matching wooden rail.
Working to a tight budget, mediterranean type plants were sourced locally and mulched with bark or gravel.
